BP Wrestling!

So my girl's been on a slight hunger strike lately(3 weeks or so) but today she seemed to be in peak hunting mode, so I was optimistic.

We're down to the last 3 small rats in the freezer before I move up to the next size, so I figured given her hunger strike, I'd try one of the big guys to see how it went. Fortunately, she struck and coiled almost instantly.

Now for the bad/amusing part... she can't seem to figure out how to eat the thing. She's got it by the arm and is just whipping the thing all around the tank. I'm sure eventually she'll figure it out(after messing up the arangement of everything in there) but it's definitely amusing to watch.

I think she's bashed the thing against her rock hide about 5 times now.

I just hope she doesn't give up before she figures out where the head is...

My Pin male did that the other night. He had his little rat by the leg and it looked like he was trying to put it on top of his hide. He wanted to eat it up there lol - too cute!

She's finally got it going!

And wow... it's always crazy when they eat their first meal at a new size. I still can't get over how much their neck stretches. She's about 800g and the rat is just shy of 100g
