    Moving to Germany
Hi all! We're planning on moving to Germany in the winter of next year. We were just curious as to what is involved with importing and such.

We live in the US and would like to bring my adult Ball Pythons with us (about five) , and continue to breed them, so it would also be quite helpful if we could get some information regarding legal things with keeping our collection, breeding them and selling.

    Anything helps, thanks everyone :D!

I know my friend brought her dog and cats to Germany and it costed her over $1k to bring them. She had to give them to authorities for quarantine for a period of time also. Don't know about snakes though.

It might be best to have someone who can ship internationally with CITES (I believe it is called) and have them ship the snakes to you. I would check into it with Germany though and see what their regulations are and what is involved if you were to bring them with you vs. having them shipped to you like you just purchased them.

    Good luck,
