    Sick Rat??
I buy rats 2 at a time and feed every 2 weeks. The 2nd rat I'm about to feed makes like sound like hes sneezing, and I haven't really noticed the sound in any of the other rats I've owned. He acts fine but is he still safe to feed or no?

Mycoplasma pulmonis, the organism that almost all rats carry. It can be aggravated by a number of things, dusty substrate, smoke, perfumes, unclean environment.

I second this. I would say it's safe to feed unless the rat is very obviously not okay (don't feed pre-zombie mutation rats lol). Even my pet rats get sneezy sometimes.

Based on what I have read here in the past it should be fine to feed him.

Looks like you already got your answer here, but I'm curious why you're only feeding your BPs every two weeks?

As far as feeding ill rats goes, I believe that they probably catch many sick and injured animals in the wild because they're easy prey.
