    Albino questions
Just picked up a 1300 gram '04 albino boy for $250. He's gorgeous and I love him. I know many people prefer the high contrast albinos, but I love that he is almost entirely yellow and looks like watercolor paints.

Now I'm wondering... how much of that yellow is inheritable, and does there exist an albino that is entirely yellow with no white? Not like the bananas with the dorsal pattern. is the % of yellow just by chance?

so really in many cases it comes down to the pattern of the parents. The less black when in normal form, the less white. much like a High contrast as a normal has very dark black and very light tan areas. Or at least that is what i have observed.

He looks very very similar to the 'yellow headed albino' in the Barker and Barker Ball Pythons book, but I can't tell if they have solid yellow heads, or just lots of yellow.. lol. Can't find much information either, and don't know enough to make the call.

Got him cheap bc the guy's habitat malfunctioned and he got a nasty burn near his tail. It's shallow and will probably go away after a few sheds, but it doesn't look pleasant. The guy wanted to sell him to be able to afford a better (and safer) rack for his females.

Edit: oh.. also just realized first post I said he was 1300g... weighed him today and he is 1627
