    Male vs Female ratio?
Title says it all basically but here is why I am asking,

I just started back into keeping bp's & have 2 females currently. I was just going to go with 1 male 2 females but I got a great deal on another female & I couldn't pass it up. So is it feasable to have 1 male, 3 females or will I need to get another male just to be safe?

    Thanks!

Yes, that is fine. I bred my male Pied this season to five females. You've got plenty of room. Just be sure to give the guy a break between females.

From what I have heard a lot of it depends on the males size and health. A larger male that is good and fresh may be able to breed 6 or maybe even possibly more females. Smaller males may need to be limited to 2 or 3 females. Generally speaking we try to keep our males at the 3 females, but may go to 4 if involved in a couple who's your daddy swinger girls. :O
