Hatchling with umbilical cord
Hello friends,
it´s my first time posting her. Normaly im only a reader in this very interested forum.
But now I need your help.
At first I have to say that I´m from Germany and my English is not as well as I like so I hope you can read and understand what I write.
Normaly I get my very first clutch from my Classic female. I got the eggs on 28th of May and incubated them on 32 degree.
Now the first hatchling is some days to early and he has still his umbilical cord. see pics. :(
Now my sorrow.
What should I do?
Has he a chance to survive? :tears:
I hope you can help me.

If you can't get him/her placed back into the egg, carefully move baby to a deli cup lined with wet paper towel so that its movements can be restricted while it's still absorbing yolk from the sac. Make sure that the paper towel remains moist so that the cord and sac don't dry out.
