    I think I really stressed her out will she feed
    Ok it took me 2 1/2 hours to help take off my pythons shed from her neck from her head she didn't stay still kept moving and striking but iv tried everything from luck warm water she gets out QUICK and I left her alone to see I'd she can do it for 2 days but still no luck so I decided to help her she was hissing everyonce in while but should she be fine by feeding day (Friday) I'm going to leave her for defenitly until feeding day but should she feed from me

    Hi,

    Yes she should have calmed down by friday ok.

    For future refference the easiest way to soak is to use a rub with a nice lid.

    Put the 86f water (if it feels warm to you it is too hot ) in it so that it is no deeper than half way up the snakes sides and, once the snake is in it, put the lid on it and let it soak for 10-15 minutes or so.

    The snake doesn't need to be underwater for the skin to loosen as the humidity in that tub will be enough to do it. :gj:

    dr del hit the nail on the head... Soak her in a nice warm tub and the skin will come right off... The best thing to do with a stressed snake is to just let it be... No need to check on it, disturb it... Put it back in its tub or tank and let it rest and chill out. Make sure it has a nice hide too...

    When soaking, make sure container is large enough to accomodate snake, and that it has enough enough water to cover snake, place snake in container, place lid on container & leave snake in for 30 minutes or so. Monitor at all times.

    The sticking shed should come right off.
