Snip snip!

My eggs are on Day 48 so I'm deciding to cut, pics will come soon!

What day do you usually decide to cut (depending on incubation temps)? For the most part I hear between Day 55-60, or when the first one pips.

Discuss below! I'd like to hear opinions on cutting too.

Last year I cut after the first one pipped. No eggs yet this year.

I cut on day 52 and the last snake exited on 61.

I prefer to wait till day 55

Most cut on day 55, you're right, some cut early myself on a clutch this season, right around the time you're talking. I cut the shell but left the membrane intact.

I normally cut around day 50.

This year I cut one clutch on day 54 and the other on day 56 because I was gone that weekend. The next one I will cut on day 54, seems to work out well.

Ill only cut after the first pips on it's own. So far this year I've only cut 1. He had a day lag behind all of his brothers so I wanted to make sure everything was ok.

I always wait til one pips and they still stay in the eggs a while, sometimes several days.

day 56 or when the first one pips...I don't see a point in doing it any earlier...other than lack of patience...:D
