    when shipping Bp's in the summer when the temps are around 90 how necessary is it to use a insulated box?

    Very necessary, it provides a more durable shipping container, I mean how many cardboard shipments have you recieved that had damaged corners or were crushed...the styro liners also hold in the cool provided by your cool pack. You really shouldn't cut corners when it comes to shipping reptiles.

    Exactly! Its 100% necessary. But if it's that warm out I also would wait to ship. Personally speaking. I cut off at 90 and below 35. The syro is the structure and support system. If you don't use it it goes against Fedex policy for live animal shipping.
