    quick question about my buddy
alright well the last few days in my house have been hectic to say the least lol.. been moving and cleaning which ment the snake cages got cleaned. now funny story time lol, i went to get alvin out my 9ft male tiger and he picked up this funny habit of attempting to throw a coil at the snake hook i use to wrangle in out. now iv read about this and seen others do it but i never really gave it muchh thought, is my guy hitting "puberty" the reason for this question is iv never bothered to learn much about breeding other then here and there because he is a pet and will never be bred, so im curious if thats why hes doing it. i dont mind him doing it cause it doesnt scare me and actually gives me my little ego boost when everyone around is in amazement im wrestling this 9ft snake into his bag or whatever lol but for my own knowledge i figured itd be better to ask

If he's trying to rub alongside the hook with his back half then its mating behavior. If he's throwing a coil as you describe then id imagine he's being moody and thinks that will stop you from taking him out. Don't reinforce that behavior, drag him out anyway.
