    First BP!!!!
This is my first snake, he is an orange ghost ball python and he is just about 6 months old. His name is Khal Drogo, Drogo means ghost in German and Khal is apparently friendly in Arabic? Its also the name of the Dothraki King in Game of thrones, which doesn't hurt. YAY

Thank-you! I didn't realize that the rest of my message was deleted. I was wondering how to get the basking temperatures up? On my "hot side" it's been wavering just below 90 degrees F, do I need a second UTH perhaps?

Also, the "cool side" is a steady 80 degrees F, and the humidity ranges between 65-75

I am using digital thermometers with probes as well as a hygrometer with a probe. The hygrometer is in the centre- is that all right?

Sorry for all of the questions. I just want to get everything right from the beginning. I brought him home yesterday- but had set his tank up days previous to ensure it was humid and that the temps were up high enough. He's been exploring the tank and has switched hides a few times also (one on the hot side and one on the cool side) those are good signs, right?

    Thank you for your help!
