so today i decided to feed my bp's and one ate good and the other not si good.i feed f/t by the way.i also feed in a critter keeper so i want get thought of as food.so the bp has been settling in for almost 2 weeks now.i tried feeding her once befor.....no luck so i tried feeding her tonight and no luck.wen i put the mouse in there she drawed up and went the other way like she was scared.so i left he in there with the mouse to see if she would eat.the room is dark and around 87 in critter keeper.i left her and came back about 15 min lateed and the mouse was moved.what do i do next.anybody ever have a picky eater and how did you get it to eat.i dont want to stress out myself or the snake.

There are a few things you can try. The first is feed her in her cage. Feeding in the cage is less stressful on BPs and DOES NOT lead to cage aggression. If she doesn't go for it right away try leaving it in over night and do not harass her with it when you go to feed. I have one BP that will only eay if I place it in her tub near her and then leave her alone. Another thing you can try is to feed live. Most will usually go for live prey. You basically have to wait them out sometimes. I spent 3 weeks trying to get my PYB to eat and then she only ate for 4 weeks before she stopped again. BPs can be picky.

Do you know if she has eaten before?
