Why is my snake burrowing outside the hide?

Are your temps correct?

90 to 91 hot side and 08 to 81 cool ambient temp 76, and I just moved her into her own tank, cuz she was in my other tank with my boy

Since you just moved her, maybe she's just settling in.

Ok she is messing up all the substrate lol

My albino granite burm like to hide under the aspen chips sometimes too.

It's just weird to me cuz she never did it when she was in the other tank so I dkn

what are u using for substrate and how thick is it? she might be cold on top of the substrate and i trying to burrow in to get to the heat. this is one of the reasons why i dont like using anything other than paper.

I have cypress mulch but the hot side I can see the glass almost that's how thin it is and the cool side it's a bit thicker
