    what is this
    i deal with her a lot and she has this one bp that she dont know what it is or what the parents are of it. she thinks it might be a black pastel gstripe but cant find any good pics of one to compare it too. can someone give some info on it. http://home.comcast.net/~mickeysnigh...21-09%20lg.jpg

    It looks similar to the cinnamon pastel genetic stripe that I found on Exotics by Nature's site.

    Breeding would give her a clearer picture of what it might truly be.

    Edit: It seems the snake in the link above was miss labeled because the same snake shows up on World of Ball Pythons as just a cinnamon genetic stripe. http://www.worldofballpythons.com/mo...enetic-stripe/

    she said hers is much darker as those are not updated pics of him and has faint patterns in sides this is why she thinks its a black pastel g stripe any1 know of these

    So, if she has no idea what is in it, where did it come from ? She didn't think to ask the person who had it before her to ask what it's mother or father might have been ?

    That seems pretty odd to me. I can see wanting a snake that looked so odd, but I'd still ask what it's parents were. Even if the person who had it didn't know what to call it's parents {which is a stretch} at least they could describe what they looked like.

    The website says it was supposed to be bred in 2009, so what babies did it produce ? You wouldn't see any G-stripes since they are recessive, but you'd know if it produced black pastels.
