Last clutch hatching
I have my last clutch of Ball Pythons hatching. Looks like I hit the odds again. Out of a four egg clutch, no Normals.
This was my who's your daddy clutch.
I was using my Het Orange Ghost female, and threw in my Orange Ghost, my Lesser, and a Pastel. All at different times. Anyway, I ended up with one Orange Ghost for sure. I can't tell what the others are yet, I might have babies from all three males.

One is out, a Pastel with an attitude. Looks like 2 Pastels 1 Lesser and 1 Orange Ghost. Still not sure on the Lesser though, could be a light Pastel.

Nature can be so cruel sometimes.
One of the hatchlings, the only Lesser, has a deformity.
Half of the upper lip did not form, if I had not cut the egg, it would have never been able to come out of the egg. I guess that's how nature culls it self.
Still cruel ! I would have taken less odds than to have that happen.
I need some advise.
I have never had to euthanize an animal, a friend and breeder said to just freeze it.

Would he be able to eat at all? I've never seen that type of deformity. Is it just the lip? Part of the jaw as well? Can you post a pic? Personally I'm in favor of keeping babies with issues/ deformities as long as they can eat, poop, shed and live a healthy life.
