Well I went out and got my boy (a beauriful little Lesser). I wound with up a glass tank thats a little bigger than I wanted but was assured by some trustworty ppl that he'll be fine with enough hides (got 3 and prob gonna add a water bowl hide, so I think he'll be fine). Sill need to get somthing to cover the 3 walls and it's runnin about 5-7 degrees lower than I'd like so I'm gonna go grab a couple low wattage lamps, those and couple little things and I'll hopefully be all set (I'll try & get pics once its done....I'm a procrastinater so I'm givin myself a deadline of the end of the week for everything :)....will check my camera for any worthy pics of him, if not it'll be awhile....after his initial exploration he's firmly entrenched in his middle hide).
One isseue I could really use some help on is keeping up the humidity. I'm using the Coco shaviings as substrate (is supposed to hold humidity better) and have about 60& of the top covered in a towel & glass (the top is about 40/20/40 screen/glass/screen). I keep misting it down good and a bunch of plastic greenery and a good sized log in there (not sure if they help or hurt). I thought of getting a mister but thought that might be a little much. I'm also a bit wooried all this misting coule lead to mold....should I be? Any tips on this are greatly appreciated.
