    The final product of the tank!
    It's pretty much all finished! All that's left is to put in the glass panel on the bottom, put some ventilation holes in it and clean it! :D
    You can't see it, but there are plexiglass panels on either side of the door.

    Can I ask what the glass panel in the floor is for.

    I do full glass floors so the UTH can be placed anywhere

    Thanks everyone. :D All the credit goes to the boyfriend, he came up with the whole idea and he's doing all the building. Our girls are spoiled rotten by him.

    And yes, if you guessed the hole/glass panel on the bottom was for a UTH, you would be right. :cool: Putting a 8x18 UTH in (the ones for 50-60 gal. aquariums) since not only is it big on floorspace, it's pretty tall too. I figured since the 30-40 gal. UTH I have in my Ball's 40 breeder is MORE than enough, this should heat it pretty nicely.

    Also, never let it be said that he never does anything halfway. He said he still needs to put the CROWN MOLDING ON. It's gonna be a palace.
