    Fires vs Sulfurs
Is there a difference between fires and sulfurs? Do they create the same homozygous morph and are they compatible? I can't seem to find much information on sulfurs. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I would liken them to Lesser/Butter, different lines of pretty much the same morph. Both make Black-eyed white snakes with varying degrees of yellow splotching. As of today, I don't think a result of a cross between Fire X Sulfur has been successful/made public.

Here goes a pic of my Sulfur Mojave:

Note: this is an exceptional example of the morph (IMO, I may be a little biased). :D

From my limited (read: small sample size) memory of seeing super sulfurs and super fires, super sulfurs may tend to have more of that yellow that black-ELs sometimes have.. or maybe not as I've only seen a handful of pics of either.

There are super sulfurs with less yellow and super fires with more yellow. Mike Wilbanks has a super fire female available now with a lot of yellow. Here's a photo of her. I would say they are probably the same mutation, just different lines.

I've hatched multiple animals from both lines, they are the same thing.

Also, if I remember correctly Sean from Exotics by Nature produced a black-eyed lucy from pastel sulfur x fire, so that really sealed the deal for me.

Thanks a lot for the info guys. These things can be tricky sometimes. I figured it was similar to the lesser/butter/mojave = blue eyed lucy morph. I really like the yellow blotching and wondered if that was more of a sulfur trait. Now I just have to figure out which one to get.

Jeff is correct. Sean did produce a Pastel Super from breeding a Pastel Sulfur to a Fire. So far the creations that I have seen with both mutations appear to be the same as an end result. i.e. a Pastel Fire looks almost identical to a Pastel Sulfur and so forth.

I myself am hoping that the Super Sulfur will have a greater tendency to produce Supers with more yellow. However, I don't think enough Super Sulfurs have been produced to make a claim like that yet. I mssed on Super SUlfurs last year, and am cooking another clutch this year. Hopefully I can hit one or two.
