    Rack Cleaning?
OK save my back! I just cleaned my Rack I do this once a month or so. I clean and scrub all the tubs and then the rack itself. The bottom of each shelf is a killer. I just lay on my belly and scrub. Does anyone have a better way? My back is killing me.

    Interesting dilemma. :D I'm 5-foot nothing, so I can't relate. LOL!

But I don't think I've ever heard of anybody scrubbing the shelf itself of a rack. Is the rack too heavy to lay on its side?

How about using one of those bendable dusting wands - you can put a scrubbing pad instead of the dust cloths on it so you can just use it to reach under the shelves?

But really, I don't know if any of what I said above would help. Just throwing ideas out there.

I use an extendable handle with a scrub sponge thingy that also has a squeegee on the back

malcolm that is a great idea I'll try one.

anatess I am 6'4"... My rack has so many wires probes and stuff it is a real pain to flip over. I feel that since the snakes can contact the shelf above the one it is in that it like the tub needed to be sanitized just like the tub and its contents. Doing just the tub and not the cover seems odd to me.
