What kind of tape?

What kind of tape you use to secure probe on bottom of substrate on top of the glass. Can you use regular tape, like blue tape or electrical tape and so on?

No tape! use a hot glue gun to glue it down. Never ever EVER use tape inside the enclosure.

K I ll do that like the glue gun that u use to decorate clothes and stuff?

yes the one used for craft projects, you can pick one up at the Dollar tree

I second the no tape!

I learned a very sad and tragic lesson from they when i caught a few baby Garter snakes as a kid that i tried to keep for a while.

I have one, luckily my wife has a pink one:)

And how long do I wait til I put the snake back in?

As soon as the glue dries :)

i would recommend some electrical tape for what u r asking.

No tape hot glue, much saver.
