    Florida Kingsnake feeding advice
So about three weeks ago I picked him up from an exotic shop in the area and she was really tiny, so I started him on f/t pinkies every 4-5 days. Well now he has gotten longer not really thicker but when i feed him the pinkies there isnt really a lump in his belly like there was before. I've tried to give him a second pinkie but he was not interested in it but still seemed to be hunting for hours. Should I try to bump him up to a fuzzy? They seem so big but due to his length I'm not sure. I'm new to the Colubrid world lol

    Thanks!

Prey items should be roughly the same size as the diameter of the snakes midbody. Do you buy your feeders online or at a pet store? While most pet stores typically only have pinkies, fuzzies, or adult mice, you can buy your frozen mice online in bulk for a much cheaper price. Online providers also have varying sizes of pinkies and fuzzies to accomodate any growth stage your snake may be in. How big is your Florida King? I currently have a cali king and a speckled king that are both under 24 inches. They both currently eat two fuzzies every 5-7 days. They do just fine on those. I hope this helps.
