Noob question

I've been lookin around and keep seeing .1, .2, 1.0, 2.1, etc.. with snake listings but in all the seemingly endless things I've been reading in preparation of gettin my first snake this weekend and hopefully get into breeding later (gonna get a Lesser) I haven't seen anything about it. Can someone plz enlighten me?4

first number is for number of males second is number of females so i have
1.0 regular bp's
