    So I've Decided...
That even though I haven't got the 'OK' yet, I'm still going to plan on saving for a baby ball python, but only after September.
I know the thermostat, cage, thermometer/hygrometer and heat mat that I'm going to use and most of the other stuff I need, but I need to know where you all buy your frozen rats in bulk(like, 25 -50 of them) and are rat pups alright to start baby bps on?
I was thinking of Rodent Pro, and going back to the House of Reptiles at some point to see their rat prices. All I know is that they were cheap.(How cheap, IDK.)
Anyway, the stuff I think I need/want is:
    Thermostat(Hydrofarm on/off type)
Heat pad(http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...ductId=2754085) the 8X8 I think is the right one
    15q rubbermaid/sterilite bin
    25 F/T rats(Pups I believe)
Accu-rite digital thermometer with probe(need three of those. Two are for my dragons)
Temp gun??(not sure if I want one)
    Aspen
    2 hides
Water dish(I think I have a nice stone one the snake can use.. I just have to sanatise it)
And one normal or pastel male ball python. :3
    I think that's everything.

Reptile shows normally have frozen rodents as well, so I would definitely go that route to save on shipping costs.

    Rat pups should work fine.

Okay, so the reptile expo should have some? Coolio! :3 I'll check the House of Reptiles on the way to the expo or something. It's around that area I think. o.O

I am pretty sure they normally do, but check the vendor list to be sure!

if im not breeding my own rats at the time i order frozen ones from rodent pro. seems like your on the right track. i would deff get the temp gun. as for what size you should feed depends on the size of the animal you buy. Also i recomend the herp stat thermostat. I incubate eggs with them as well as have my racks controlled by them. Top notch product.

I know they had rats last time I was there, but I'll check the list again.
All I remember from the reptile expo was lots of snakes, and my sister got a gecko there.
The only BP I remember seeing was a bumblebee. But I know they had a LOT of boids, so I'd be in luck finding one there.
The prices at the expo are pretty cheap also. I was so tempted to buy one of the beardies that were $10 because of a tail nip.

Looks like they have a vendor there! For RMB pet and Feeders(hopefully they'll be there at the January 2012 expo, that's the one I plan on going to) but they have pups for $0.65, so X 25, that'd be 16.25. 32.50 for 50 pups. Not bad, I'd say. :3

Sorry, didn't see your post before I posted. Okay, so I'll get the temp gun(could come in handy with my dragons as well)
I've heard lots of good reviews on the hydrofarm on/off stat, and was recommended to it by one of the members on here. :3 It's cheap, but it seems to be really good from the reviews. Lots of people use it for their snakes.
Eventually I'd want a proportional one, though. If I was going to have more than one snake or breed them, then I'd go with that, but I just want a new friend. XD
    Thanks though, for the reply!
