Ball python bumping top of cage?
My ball python is roaming her cage a lot. She often times pushes the top screen too. I can describe it as she sticks her head all the way up to the screen and goes backwards until you can see her belly, falls back down and repeats that over and over again. Is this due to stress? I have not been handling her at all but she wont stop. The temp are around 90-93 on the hot side and cool side is 79-81

NO ITS NOT STRESS. mine used to do it all the time, i though she was trying to escape. but i have talked to people about it, an they said she was just exploring. an if shes going up to the basking light its to get some sun. is she new to the tank?
mine did it all the time, an my mom hated it  but its normal.

Temp is fairly moderate in my area so i only use under tank heater so there is no basking light :P And i moved her in the new tank about 2 days ago so thats why i wondered if it was stress. Thanks!

    Ball pythons don't bask.

Anyways, it sounds like she is just exploring and being clumsy like ball pythons are. My guy who's in the tank does this too, he knows to go for the corners now so he doesn't fall over as easily lol. If she's doing this at night then it's perfectly normal, if she's roaming and exploring during the day that can be a sign of stress.

Yup, if she's only beein in there 2 days then she's just getting to know her surroundings. No worries :)
