    Boa Burn
    :( My columbian red tail got a really bad burn in Nov. while under the care of a friend when i was out of town. Shes still not completly healed. Shes received prper medication and care. im just curious if anyone knows about how long it will take her to fully recover if ever. :(

    I'm sure you've got it taken care of, but I go to chime in just for my peace of mind......

    Be very careful that your substrate isn't moist at all. It would not be the first time I heard about a burn coming back in the same spot as an infection sometimes months after the fact. Overly damp cage conditions can cause this. I'm not sure of the severity of the burn but I just thought I'd throw that out.
