    Oh No!
Ugh. I went away for a long 4th of July weekend and my friend came and fed my tortoise and the Leo's.
I got back and my son's Leo's tail is 1/3 necrotic and going to drop :(
I have no idea what happened (haven't asked her yet) but it looks like she may have hit her tail on top with a hide or something, there is a small cut. I've slathered Neosporin on it but just feel sick about it...if it were one of my guys I wouldn't care (well, I would, but) but my son's! UGH. I haven't told him yet, he's in GA working and I've been caring for his snakes and Leo for a long while now.
I know these things happen and I know Hamster (yes, he named a gecko that) will be fine but I just feel so terrible!! :tears:

It may have been a Superworm. I asked my friend if anything happened or if she noticed anything with Hammy's tail. She said no, everything seemed fine when she fed her...but, did worms bite? Ugh. One crawled into the slight space around the tile and she left it in the tank for Hammy to have later. It's entirely possible the worm bit her tail. I can't find it though, so maybe she did eat it. Poor Hammy.
