AP Economy Plastics Rack - Issue
I recently purchased an Animal Plastics 1753(8) juvenile rack setup and have a big issue with it. The 15 quart tubs fit great, but the 32 quart tubs fit extremely tight to the point that the whole rack shifts while i'm trying to open the tubs and the water bowls spill all over. This is very disappointing as I have heard nothing but great things about AP. Has anyone else had this issue with the misfitting tubs? Should I contact AP? Thoughts and suggestions are appreciated.

    Thanks,

Contact AP. Why wouldn't you contact the manufacturere if you were having a problem?

I have a second hand used AP rack, that I had a few questions about and even though AP didn't get money from me as a customer they answered my emails quickly and professionally. Contact them, they'll help you figure out the issue.

Are you 100% sure you have the right 32quart tubs in there?

Thanks. I'm using Sterilite 1755 32 quart tubs (w/ the purple handles). Yes...The handles and lid have been removed.

I'll shoot AP an email and see if they have a solution for this issue.

    Thanks,

just sand down the bottom edge of the tubs, untill they slide nice.
    that should fix it.:gj:

I bet the 32 quart tubs have changed designs. I know that AP assembles and tests their racks before delivery. In that case you may just have to sand down the tubs.

we just bought one of those and the tubs fit great. make sure all the screws are in tight and your flex watt tape is not bowed out.

This isn't true. The way their racks screw together would mean that holes in the shelving would already be present when I recieved the rack...This was not the case.

Either way...AP has already responded to my email (Yes...This late at night) and we are working together on a solution. Their customer service is second to none!
