New Jersey Permit

I am filling out my initial permit and it asks for a vet name and address. Do I need to have taken my baby bp in for its initial exam before i send in for my permit or do they just want the name of a vet i intend to take it to when i need to? I just bought it yesterday, so I have the 20 day permit right now. Just trying to make sure I do things in a timely manner and correctly.

Just put the name of the vet you intend to use. Make sure they take exotics though....

ok cool thank you. i called around yesterday finding out which vets in the area take exotic pets. found 3. just a matter of which one i intend to use now. im glad to know that because i didn't want to spend $60-$80 just because i need a permit and have no other reason to get an evaluation at the vet yet. :)
