    New enclosure in progress :))))
My boyfriend's been doing an awesome job building Satin's permanent home, and I wanted to share the progress 'cause it looks cool, and it's not even finished!

    Here's the enclosure...

It's built from melamine and it's 6 ft. long, 2 ft. wide and 3ft. tall (I'm pretty sure, I forgot to ask the specific measurements) On the bottom right he cut out that hole to put a class panel there, which will rest in a groove so it lays flush with the bottom of the tank but allow us to put in a 8x18" UTH for belly heat, instead of putting in heat lights like we thought we would.

And the front will have two glass panels and then these for doors:

They're windows! :O But they open outwards, unlike normal windows that slide up and down, so he's putting in two on their sides so that they open like cabinet doors. Plus, they have window locks like normal windows, so we can lock the doors to secure them. I thought that was pretty ingenious on his part, I was just gonna put in two sliding glass panels. :P

I'll be sure to post up pictures when it's done, he's going to finish it tomorrow. I'm so excited to see the final result, it looks so cool unfinished I'm sure it's going to be even more awesome when it's completed! Plus it's so one-of-a-kind. :D He really went all-out!
