How much should I expect to pay for a pastel?
I don't know if this is the right thread(if it isn't, sorry... XD)but I've been looking at morphs and at a reptile expo, how much should I expect to pay for a:
    Lemon Pastel
    Mojave Pastel
    or just regular pastel?
They're all so pretty! But I'd be happy with a normal for a first snake also.

Lemon pastel is a variety of extra bright pastel(like a line of pastel)
Mojave pastel is a combonation morph of mojave + pastel, and it'll cost quite a bit more.
Regular pastels vary quite a bit by how bright they are.

Regular pastels can run $50-200 depending on male/female and brightness/markings.
Lemon pastels vary wildly from same price as regular pastels(debatable sometimes if they are "lemon" or just regular?) to twice as much.

Pastel/Mojave or "Pastaves" can run $600-800+ (probably higher for females).

This is based on a quick search of current prices, and is not meant as any binding agreement or guarenteed information. You can certainly find "bargain" prices, and you can certainly find much higher prices. Sometimes you get what you pay for, so you'll have to look at pictures and see how each individual snake looks, and look into the genetics to see if it's worth the price to you. I reccomend you attend a couple reptile conventions and see the snakes in person so you can get a good idea of what the various morphs look like in person.

Mojave/pastel is a great morph combo. You didn't mention "super pastels" at all, and you might want to look at those as well.

    I hope this helped!

Super pastels are really pretty! Are they under $200? I think that would be a reasonable limit. XD(maybe just above also...)
I think I'll want to get a pastel one. Not sure which type exactly, but they are all so gorgeous.

It depends on the sex, size, age, and color quality. Example a breeding size female pastel can cost $1000 or more, where as a baby can be found for around 70-100.
I got super lucky, and payed only $300 for my 1500+g female pastel. Found her on craigslist. The guy was done with breeding and didnt care anymore. Its deals like that i personally wait for ;)

Re: How much should I expect to pay for a pastel?
Ah, well, I Want a younger one for my first one, and a male, so they I know will be a little cheaper. As long as it's healthy and active(and eats) then the colour is not too terribly important, but I'm more looking for a companion pet than a breeder.
The NW Reptile Expo is the one I go to. There's one on January 21 2012 that I Want to go to to get one.
If of course, my dad will let me...xD We already ahve 10 pets...

Make sure you have the enclosures ready and set up properly before you go to the expo. Then you'll be set up for bringing home new babies!

I hope to get the stuff I need from christmas-expo date-b-day. Expo is 10 days before my b-day, so it should all work out well. :3
