BP feeding tips please [urgent]!

Ok so I got my baby bp 2 weeks ago, and it will. Not. Eat.! I've tried everything. The temps and humidity is perfect, she has two hides, fresh water, a 12-12 day/night cycle, I haven't handled it, I [try] to feed it in its cage, and it just won't eat. I've tried frozen and live (spaced 5 + days apart). Last night I warmed up the mouse perfectly, and put it in the cage, then went to bed. If my bp was older and it did this I wouldn't be worried because I know all about their hunger strikes. I'm really getting frusturated and need any advice out their. Thanks! :snake:

Some take longer than others to adjust and feel comfortable enough to eat. As long as your husbandry is correct and you're heating up the prey enough, I would just say keep trying every 5-7 days and eventually it will decide that it's hungry. I know how frustrating it can be though.

I know the feeling, my girl is over 2 years old and just a couple months ago she decided she wasn't gonna follow any damn feeding schedule I tried to give her. I spaced it out to about 10-14 days for every feeding and that usually makes her hungry enough to eat it up pretty soon after I offer. Step back on the amount of time between prey offerings (maybe every 8-10 days between) and see if that helps.

How big is your snake and how big is it's enclosure. Pics would be great.

As everyone said, just keep trying. Sometimes even the little ones go on hunger strikes. My 300g pastel yb hasn't eaten in 2 months now and she's only lost 4g. I've read that some got their BPs to eat again by dipping the rat/mouse in chicken broth. I personally have never tried it, but it might be something to try. For now just keep an eye on your baby, it's pretty easy to see when they are losing weight, and keep trying.

If it is a young snake it might need live prey. Some young ones won't eat F/T right away, especially if it is just laying in their tank.

2 weeks is not that long of a fast. Does she have tight fitting hides? Tank or tub? All of these little tiny details could be throwing her off in some way. I would Give her 1 full week with no offer. And the next week then try offering a live smaller than usual food item. And see how it goes. Sometimes they go off feed longer than we expect. Especially when they are brand new to the environment it's really hard bc I know they are ok when they eat a few meals in a row. Sometimes things just don't go right.
