What size rodents should you feed your balls?
What do you feed a ball python when it is a hatchling?
And when it is 300-350 grams?

A hatchling can eat small rat fuzzies.
At 350g they can eat a 30 day old weanling rat no problem.

Im using my two as examples.
When they were 60-70 grams I was feeding them small rat pups or sm/md mice.
now that they are 150ish they are eating weanlings or the largest mice I could find.
I can see them eating a very sm adult rat when they are 300+.

The problem is everyones opinion what a sm or md rat is differs. I just eye ball their size when I pick them out.

One time I picked out a "sm" rat for my then 400 gram hog island and the rat was more like a md :O and was concerned watching but he handled it with a large lump that was there for a few days :gj:

A good rule of thumb is to feed rodents that are barely larger (or the same size) as your BP at its widest spot. That helps reduce the confusion on the difference between small, medium, etc.
