    My First Clutch!! Now questions....
Hey everyone, I haven't posted much on here but I've gotten my first clutch of eggs and what a surprise it was! Its from my Spider x Normal pairing. They were laid last Monday 6/20/11. I have them incubating at 89 degrees, according to the Helix thermostat, my other thermostat says 86-87 so I'm not sure which is correct. The Humidity has moved around abit, it was at 100% and it went to 83% over a weeks time, so I added abit more water today. I just wanted to know if these look normal and healthy to you guys and gals who have had more clutches and know what bad and good eggs look like.

    did they candle well?

Place a therm/hygro in with the eggs.... that way you know what the temps and humidity is AT THE EGGS
they coo look like they can use a bump in humidity though...

I did candle them and from what I could see they all had veins. I have the helix probe about 2 inches above the eggs and the other thermostat that reads temp and humidity in the container right next to the eggs. I should move that on into the egg container.

Add a little water to your substrate. Get press and seal and cover the top of the box. That will hold in the humidity. Other than that they look pretty good. Good luck!

Congrats, the eggs appear to have some calcification issues, other than that they look good.
