    I'm a little confused
I've only had my pastel yb for about 3 months and she is the most confusing snake I own.

    Here is her story:
    I got her April 4th
I first offered her food April 15th (she refused)
She also refused food on April 21st
She finally are for me April 27th and ate 2 other meals after that, all 6 days apart
She hasn't eaten since May 9th.
She shed for the first time for me April 30th, and since I was leaving her alone hoping she would continue to eat, I didn't notice which resulted in some stuck shed which was easy to take care of

So in short she hasn't eaten since May 9th, I still offer food every 6 days and she last shed about 2 months ago.

Today I tried placing her in a paper bag with a pinky rat (she was refusing the rat pups she previously ate). I just checked on her and realized that she is about to shed. She's either going blue or coming out of it, I'm not sure. I don't bother her other than to offer her food and change her water because she won't eat for me. Is it normal for fasting BPs to still continue to shed? I should also add that she is a small 2010. When I got her she was 253g, now she is 297g.

How is your husbandry? That is the first question with non eating little ones.

If everything checks out that includes AMBIENT temps that are at least as important as surface temps. ( the ambient temps should be 80-85 )

Is the enclosure in a quiet area. If everything temps and humidly wise are good and there is 2 hides of reasonable size I try to keep from touching or otherwise bothering the snake for 2 weeks and try again. Pre-scent the room (leave rats in there for 20 to 30 min before offering) so that the snake will warm up to the idea. Hopefully that will work.

I'm 99% positive it's not my husbandry. She's in a rack with 8 other ball pythons that eat like pigs. Temps are fine, but she only has one hide because 2 won't fit into her tub. I've tried pre-scenting the room. I leave them right next to her tub. I've even tried to feed her a live ASF. I'm pretty sure she just doesn't want to eat. I'm not overly concerned with her not eating. I've been monitoring her weight and in the last month she's lost 4g.

I'm more confused about her shedding. She hasn't eaten in a month and a half but she's is either going blue or coming out of the blue. Is it normal for a fasting snake to continue to shed?
