cut my eggs from my Mojave x Normal pairing
Last night I cut my eggs from my mojave x normal pairing and got 3 mojaves and 2 normals. Now I'm just hoping the mojaves end up being female but I am very pleased with the odds. Here are a few pics of them still in their eggs

more pictures when they come out of those eggs please!
Thanks! Definately will update once they come out. The dad has a stripe most of the way down its back and atleast one baby appears to have a nice stripe as well.

With veins the size of those in the last egg, I wouldn't have cut that clutch just yet.
isn't it a teeny tiny bit early? What day are you on?

Yesterday (when we cut) was day 56.

Oh, oki :) I usually have heads sticking out around day 53-54ish so I figured you might have been earlier then that set date. That being said, I incubate at 32 degrees celsius so I might just incubate at a higher temperature.
Anyways, good luck on the male/female ratio! I'll be holding back some mojave females this season too, I have a male special on the way.. ;-]

We incubate at 88.5 degrees and cut both of our clutches at day 55 and 56. Our last clutch ended up being very healthy, so we figured it was safe.
Good luck with you getting some Mojo girls too! I would love to work with the special/mystic gene at some point. We have a neet dinker that we will be breeding to a Mojo down the road, so a few more girls would be nice.
