Has anyone ever seen this before?
My brother received this snake a couple weeks ago and we have witnessed it doing this a couple times.
At first didnt get a good look at it and just heard it...thought it was hacking/chocking from a severe RI but then checked out the snakes mouth and saw no other symptoms.
This last time we were actually able to witness and record it and we saw that it was actually blowing air/bubbles from its vent. It happened a few minutes after he pooped...the poop was pretty normal looking.
We have heard/seen it 2 times in the last 2 weeks...not sure if it has happened more than that but there are usually alot of people around the house at all times so usually someone would have seen it if it happened.
Still waiting to hear back from this "supposedly" reputable breeder but his contact has been very slow on the issue.
Has anyone seen something like this before?

We have never seen that before and it scared the crap out of us.
I think his temps are right on (warm hide 90 with IR temp gun) but he was using his cool hide to digest instead of his warm one for some reason.
Your snakes seem to be fine afterwards as far as you can tell? My guy is eating and pooping and active, everything fine except for this.

Yea thats exactly what it looks like...if you watch the video close enough you can see some substrate go flying into the air behind him from the air coming out his vent. Crazy.
Anyway, if anyone else has any input please let me know.

Seen it happen twice in 2 weeks.
No bubbles/wheezing or any other symptoms of RI.
Never shown any aggression.

I have heard and seen them fart before and never seen them recoil that much to actually lift themselves off the ground like that...I hope thats all it is tho.
To answer your questions....F/T, they are fresh rats and noone else is having any problems with them.

That is kinda odd i have heard some thunder size ones from some of my big females but have never actually seen it.
