    Regular pastel?
    So I bought this male julius like a year ago for 50$ I was told he was a pastel but I've seen tons of pastels in real life and on the internet and he looks nothing like them so whats everyone think?

    Looks like a regular pastel to me.

    There's a huge amount of variability within pastels -- it used to be that they were differentiated based on bloodline (Graziani, lemon, Ruppel/stonewash, etc.), and the different bloodlines looked very different, particularly those that were selectively bred for one particular appearance. (Grazianis were more reduced-pattern, lemons were more busy patterned and supposed to be very bright, etc.) I haven't seen much differentiating lately, though, and there are so many combos it's easy to think one has something "extra," but there are still a lot of different looks that pastel can take.

    Its a pastel, one of the more whiter ones ive seen but still a pastel. make a whie bumblebee with it ;)

    Yea he's cool looking. Looks just like my pastel. I can't until mine gets that big, I just have to get him over his attitude first.:D

    Just commenting on the variablility of pastels, I figured I would show you my girls and you can see the defference.

    Thanks for the replies everyone I plan on breeding him next year to 2 normal females. I wanted to breed him this year but my female was only 800 grams :/

    I'll add to that. Our pastel from Tim Koppenhofer (Special K Reptiles).

    Thank you. I picked her up from a friend that was moving last year for $100. When I saw her my jaw hit the floor. Couldn't shell out the benjamin fast enough! lol
