    New from NY
Hello everyone. I just recently picked up a 2 month old normal bp...not sure on the sex but for the time being I'm assuming it's a male. This is my first one and I'm pretty excited about it.

Thanks everyone! I actually have one question, is it possible/a good idea to house two BP's in the same tank?

Welcome to the forum. Cute little baby. The majority of people on this forum are gonna tell you it's not a good idea to keep them together. I am terrible at trying to explain why you shouldn't so hopefully someone will chime in. There are also lots of threads that give the reasons why.

Ok, thank you. I was poking around in the breeding forums and noticed the steps of introducing the male to the female's tank and figured something was up with housing them together all the time. I was just curious because (bad example I know) I see them housed together all the time at pet stores.
