    Viper boa mystery?????
Ok so we got this viper boa from someone in a trade. It's an adult female that has recently given birth to only two babies. I had no real interest in these but I had a friend who recently lost one that he really liked so being the awesome guy I am;) I gave this one to him. Anyway I did another trade with the same guy and he threw in the two babies on the deal. Now were really not expecting much because I know those typically die at an early age when captive hatched. But that beside the point. A little over two months after the birth of the first two babies this female just gave birth to two more! Anyone heard of this? Keep in mind she has been housed alone since before the birth of the first two so I'm pretty stumped.

Retained sperm? Garter snakes are capable of going years and producing without mating again.
