soooo, my 1500 gram female layed 8 slugs....... sux, but she when offered food a few days later and gladly accepted a f/t rat, and gurged it back up the next day, yummy smell to say the least !! now my best guess is to large a rat ???? anyway what do you guys think??

It could have been to large of a rat, but it could be other things also. Was the rat fully thawed? What are the temps in you enclosure? It could just be that she was very stressed. There are so many different things that could have caused this it is hard to tell....

Double check all of your husbandry parameters and wait at least 2-3 weeks before feeding again. Her digestive system will need time to recover.

I've always heard smaller meals after a feeding binge... My ball female was off for 2 months and I only offered her a jumbo mouse... I'd try a small rat

Check you husbantry, but I would guess that after a fast a small 'starter' meal might be easier to digest.
