Hey man, in my 28qt for my Female BP i have about 40holes (small) in total and my humidity rarely exceeds 70%. Its usually around 58-65%. I have yet to have any shedding or feeding issues.
Just watch out for condensation and humidity constantly over 70%, high humidity alone won't kill but high humidity and bad air flow is dangerous.

The best thing to do is add more holes as time goes along, just test your temps and humidity, that's why its good to set up everything at least a week before getting your BP, because it also depends on the size of your holes,if i find a ruler i'll measure mines but they are small.

Good luck! Try looking through the DIY section as we'll.

The amount of holes depends on the relative humidity in your area.
If you live in a low humidity area then make less holes to start with, you can always add holes if needed.

I'd start with 5 - 7 per side and go from there.

I was wondering this too. I'm going to be switching to the rack system soon and was wondering the exact same thing as the OP. And extra information, I live in Florida.

Depends on area where You live and substrate You use and size of water dish You Have... I'll start with 5 on front and back and 7 each side... and then just monitor your environment...
In My rack I have 15 on front 8 on back and around 19 holes on sides ... with aspen sanichips and 8 inches water dish i have constant humidity around 55-60%...
But that is in rack with free tubs I'll go with less than that....
