So still trying to decipher Arnold

I've come across a couple of pictures similar to Arnold but none are really that close. I found a Spider:Fire at NERDs site but I don't know. Anybody here take any good guesses or know for sure? Here's the link to NERD's Fire

Axanthic Bumble Bee?

I don't know the story behind this particular snake though, so apologies!

I have no idea of the breeding history, she came from a petshop an hour away from my house and they bought her from a private breeder but didn't know about her lineage and couldn't tell me anything about the breeder :( Only thing I know is they had her and a pastel together and they both came from the same breeder. I may try and call tomorrow to do some more detective work.

Get a good picture of the head pattern, that would be helpful;)

Could be a fire-spider, though it's a tad tough for me to imagine someone hatching out a fire-spider unknowingly and then wholesaling it to a pet store. Could happen I suppose -- I guess one parent could've been an imported fire and the breeder didn't realize it -- but it just seems less likely.

My thought it is that it may be a regular spider who underwent a loss of pigment and became lighter, possibly due to a metabolic stress.

I've had this happen a couple of times now; I ended up selling both animals but have kept track of them both. One, an older female, I think may be an actual "IMG" as she has darkened up significantly since losing her color -- to the point where she is now darker than she was before losing it.

The other, though, was one that I think experienced a metabolic stress that caused him to lose pigment, and that's a little more what your guy reminds me of ... He doesn't look quite as silver/gray as many of them seem to, but it seems that some turn silver and others just get very light ... Without a history I'd think it's a fair hypothesis.

... Though, that doesn't mean that you might not get lucky when you breed her! :D

Well I cant see a breeder selling an axanthic bee to a pet store let alone the pet store paying the price for one. If your snake and the pastel came from the same clutch it could be a low quality bee. Or just a unique spider. It dosnt have the white sides of a typical spider which is what a spider x fire looks like, although I dont see a pet store having one. Hmmm not sure but it's a beautiful snake and would like to have one like it. :)

First picture looks like an axanthic bee the second looks like a low white lighter colored spider. I would guess it's the second one. Only way to know is breed her. What else do you have to breed to her?
