    Quick question about ball python health
    I cant tell what this is on the bottom jaw of my new super pastel. He seems very healthy and active, but i noticed this today when i was doing a closer inspection of him. Hard to tell in the pictures but has anyone seen something similar?

    Hi,

    It's hard to say from those pics bit it looks like he might have rubbed a couple of raw spots?

    Are there any tight gaps in the enclosure he might be trying to jam his head in?

    I would keep an eye on it ( you could possibly apply neosporin - the kind without painkillers ) but it should hopefully go away with his next shed as long as he doesn't keep rubbing it.

    Thanks for the input, that was kinda my first guess. Its very possible he has been very curious with his new home, i will keep an eye on him, make sure it dosnt get worse.
