    Help!
    My female boa is attempting to eat her rat backwards (from the tail first)...should i intervene or will she get it down without harming herself???

    Let her do her thing. She may restart from the head or swallow as is.

    yep she got it down tail first...i was just afraid that the claws would scratch her on the way down or something...but all seems good

    That's more of a concern with lizards and invertebrates, swallowing rats backwards should not cause any issues. :) Glad she's okay.

    Some of my snakes aren't the brightest crayons in the box either. It won't hurt them though. They normally figure it out after a while.
