    Thoughts on using corn cob bedding
    I was wondering if anyone has used crushed corn cob as a bedding material for ASF's. The cost is 1/3 of what I am using now, so that would be a big savings.

    But, you have to use more of it...
    I use it on bigger animals and birds, but as far as for rodents, it's not cost effective, in my opinion.

    the lady i get my rats from swears by it and she has a few thousand rats, mice, asf, hamsters and gerbils
