    Eggbound ?
Hello everyone haven't posted in a while, but I have a question...Its been 40 days since my girls pre-lay shed. Picture below is how she is right now. Her breath's are very close together, and she's been very restless...At what point should I worry about her being eggbound?

Ill say it now and again, counting from the females shed is pointless. I have 2 females that DONT shed once they ovulate. I count 50-58 days after ovulation for eggs.

And your still fine as some females will hold on to them longer than others, Giver her time.

Second this.... my lady ovulated, shed 3 weeks later... and laid at 34 days after ovy. Also didn't build... just ovulated...

They go by their own schedule.... and test your patience ALL THE TIME!

    Well, well, well!!!

Look what I woke up to today!! So much for being egg bound :banana::banana::banana:

6 Beautiful eggs, not one slug!! She was also very easy going during the removal!! This was actually the first BP/snake I ever owned, so it was an exciting clutch for me. Just gave her, and her tub a nice bath. Gonna see if she's hungry...She was very thirsty that's for sure lol. As soon as she saw her water dish being filled she wanted it instantly. Snapped some pics of her drinking too.

Congrats, that's awesome. It's pretty funny how you posted your concern and she lays the next day. Good stuff.

LOL I think the general consensus is that you should expect eggs around 30-45 days after post-ovy shed.

    Congrats on the clutch!
