    BP stuck in wall. Help.
Okay my daughters Ball Python climbed into a hole that lead underneath our cabinets. I figured i would pull the base boards off and finder her. Well after exposing the underneath of the cabinets which was a space shaped like a pizza there was no snake. When i examined the back wall i noticed a small part of dry wall broke and low and behold i could see part of the snake through the hole. How do i coax the snake out. Aside from tearing the counters out and busting into the wall she'll have to come out on her own. But how.

how strong is her feeding response? can you dangle a rat outside the hole? not too close or it will strike and drag it right back in..

she has a strong feeding response. The problem is the hole is at the back of the counter in the kitchen. The is a 4 inch space underneath the counters which are three feet or so off the wall. I'm going to try the food i think but put it at the base of the counter and wait for her to strike and coil and then try and drag her out with a hooked stick.

Maybe try waiting til evening. Turn out all the lights in that part of the house. Warm your rat and lay it just outside that hole on the kitchen floor. Lay in wait with your hook. Be patient - it may be a looong wait. But hopefully the nicely warmed rat will draw her out. Best of luck! And let us know how it works....

That's basically what I'm doing. I've taped 3 pieces of paper together and put a rat on them. I have about two of the sections underneath the counter. I'm hoping that she will come out and when she takes the rat i can slowly pull the papers out till i can grab her.

When a snake was lost at a store i worked at we managed to get it out with a live little rat. I hooked him up on a little collar made with a steel fishing lead 3 feet long and atached it to a shelf leg. the snake came out hit the rat we pulled him out from him hole, he crushed the rat when he went to eat it we tossed him i na cage, then the rat he still ate it. Took all of about 40 mins. Good luck hope you find it before it finds the ducts in your house.

Thats horrible, just be aware if the snake has his tail wrapped around something back there it will not be easy to pull out. I would be tempted to just tear half my house down...
