Who has UTH on both sides
This might be a silly question but...... I have an UTH on each side of both my enclosures. My 10gl ball tanks and my large Burm enclosure. I have thermostats on all the UTHs. Is this common practice or did I over think things and end up with overkill?

Some people do it because they get the cold side to the proper temps. For me, one is already enough to drive me mad, so I use one on the hot side, and a heat lamp to bring up ambient temps, and cold side temps. Most people here aren't fans of heat lamps, because they suck the humidity out. But if you utilize them right, like with a dimmer, you shouldn't have too many problems.

I used to use UTH's on both sides of bp cages. It's perfectly fine, as long as you maintain the gradient.

Yep, I have one on each side. One is set to about 90 and the other is set to low 80s.
