My male pied BP just shed yestderday and when I took him out to weigh him today I noticed he gained a little grey scale in this white part. He has never had this little colored scale before, kind of interesting.
Also, my boyfriends mexican black kingsnake gained a white chin after a shed and has had that for about 6 months now.
