    Pastel Columbian Boa?
    Hello everyone,

I found someone selling a Pastel Columbian Boa, and I know nothing of boa morphs. Is he what they claim he is?

He used to be a class pet (photos are from 2007). Recently, he hasn't gotten much attention so he needs a little work, which I'm willing to do. He's 13 years old and looks like such a sweetheart <3
    What do you guys think?

Yes, that is a Colombian Bci. It could be a pastel, or it could be just a really nice normal. Either way, he looks like a beautiful, healthy snake. How much is he being sold for?

An AMAZING deal. $200 for him, two tanks, a stand and various extras. He needs a larger tank, but I can still make use of the two tanks.

Sounds reasonable, if everything is in good condition.

Make sure to meet with the owner and hold the snake before making any final decisions. Remember boas are much different to handle than ball pythons, and you want to make sure this is a pet you are comfortable with handling.

:) Good luck. He really is beautiful.

Sounds great. I'd go see the snake and if he looks alright I'd snap him up!:) Luck to you!

I'm super excited. Unfortunately I have to wait until I get back from Paris (leaving tomorrow) in two weeks, but I think the owner likes me and isn't interested in getting rid of him fast -- she wants him to have a good home. It's about an hour drive away, but I'm definitely going to go see him and hold him, make sure he's healthy, etc. (:
As for the condition the photos look great, but there's only one way to find out for sure!

Sounds like a good deal. The owner sounds like she cares about the snake very much, which is a good indicator that he is in good condition.

Still, quarantine is a must with boas!

For the time being I am going to be keeping him at a friend's house. She's also experienced with snakes and there's no snakes over there, so everything will be awesome. She's also really excited :D
